T-Series Mixtape: Seasons 2 & 3

T-Series Mixtape Seasons 2 and 3 were built around a distinctive idea in Indian commercial music: take familiar Hindi songs and combine them into new musical arrangements, performances and sonic experiences. The music was led by composer and producer Abhijit Vaghani, with T-Series bringing together a large roster of singers and musicians for a highly visible digital music franchise.

T-Series Mixtape Season 2 featured 16 songs and a large cast of 28 singers. Each episode had to make different songs, voices and musical identities feel natural within a single arrangement. The production moved between contemporary pop, Indian musical traditions and Western musical influences, while keeping the emotional recognition of the original songs intact. Season 3 continued the concept as T-Series Mixtape Rewind, revisiting well-known songs from the 1990s and early 2000s with new arrangements and performances under Abhijit Vaghani's musical direction.

Vatsal Chevli worked across the Mixtape projects at Headroom Studio alongside Aftab Khan as Mix Assistant. His contribution placed him inside a fast-moving professional mixing environment where large arrangements, multiple vocal performances, instrumentation and final sonic balance had to come together under commercial delivery demands. The work required attention to detail at every stage of the mix process while maintaining consistency across a series designed for a mass digital audience.

The T-Series Mixtape work became an important part of Vatsal Chevli's professional experience in large-scale Indian music production. Working on a project associated with T-Series, Abhijit Vaghani and Headroom Studio gave him exposure to the workflow behind high-profile commercial releases, where arrangement, performance, recording, mixing and mastering all need to translate into a cohesive listening experience across streaming platforms and digital video.
