Magic Moments Music Studio: Season 1
Magic Moments Music Studio Season 1 brought together Saregama, Magic Moments and music composer Abhijit Vaghani to reimagine familiar Indian songs through new voices, fresh arrangements and contemporary music production. The project was designed to connect the nostalgia of iconic melodies with a younger audience while keeping the emotional identity of the originals intact.
The series became a meeting point between classic Hindi film music and modern commercial production. Songs were rebuilt around new performances and updated sonic arrangements, creating a balance between familiarity and reinvention. Two releases associated with the project were Tujhe Dekha Toh, performed by Kumar Sanu and Neha Karode, and Khatuba, performed by Bhrigu Parashar and Deepali Sathe. Vatsal Chevli handled mixing and mastering for Tujhe Dekha Toh and Khatuba. His role came at the final creative and technical stage of the production, where vocals, instrumentation, dynamics, tonal balance and spatial detail had to work together as polished commercial records. The objective was not simply technical cleanliness, but to preserve the emotional character of the songs while giving the new arrangements the clarity, weight and translation expected from contemporary releases.
For Vatsal Chevli, Magic Moments Music Studio Season 1 is an example of music mixing and mastering within a high-visibility branded music project. It brought together Saregama's catalogue, Abhijit Vaghani's production direction and contemporary performances, with the final records needing to work across streaming platforms, digital video and a large public audience.
